Does anyone here happen to work on the TDL or TDS cast? I am interested in trying for a position at either of the parks ( I heard they are always looking for gaijin to play the 'friends' of the disney princesses) But I was wondering what some of the requirements/working conditions were like. Japanese language proficiency, for instance? (I'm at a decent getting-by level, but nowhere near fluent)

Any info would be greatly appreciated. I live in Chiba now, so I'm pretty close to the parks. I'm a decent actress, and not obese or anything (I can wear Japanese clothes, at least) but I AM incredibly short for a gaijin. (Under five feet tall). Just fishing for some information now for curiosity's sake.

One of my friends went to the TDR job fair thingy they have (I think it's annually) @ Makuhari Messe, but that's pretty much for the normal operations jobs (attractions, food, merchandise, etc.) As far as the face characters go, much of the recruiting/auditioning is done in the U.S./abroad (Australia, Europe), as those entertainment cast members are required to sign contracts for several months that include benefits/living packages, etc. Also, if you are under five feet tall, there are no Disney princesses in that height range.
